    Delichon Oy Ltd. was established in 1994 in Finland to produce and distribute high-quality products for biotechnology and life sciences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The company policy is to concentrate on products of characterized high quality only. In particular, antisera intended for analysis of cellular localisation of signalling molecules (such as histamine, GABA, octopamine, neuropeptides) are sold with appropriate antigens to control specificity. Products are sold worldwide directly to customers. Larger quantities are available upon request. Contract research is also possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Delichon Ltd. is also concerned about environmental issues and nature conservation. The company provides expertise in planning, environmental analysis and identification of endangered species (birds, mammals, insects) in areas subject to e.g. city planning.     Many antisera work well on EDAC-fixed tissues.     The EDAC solution should be prepared just before use. The pH is critical (preferable pH 6.9-7.1). If tissues are immersed rather than perfused, the solution can be changed to a fresh one during extended fixation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n<\/div>

    The coupling with this bifunctional fixative is effective at neutral and\/or slightly acidic conditions. Use of EDAC results in highly sensitive and specific staining, which allows dilution of the antisera maximally.
